In the depths of time there was only a television series called Doctor Who.
Now there are countless items of interest, ranging from the novelisation
to the collected card game. On the Internet lurks a land of intrigue,
controversy, thrills and downright madness - welcome to Rec.Arts.DrWho!!!

With something as widespread as our beloved series, there are no end of
facts and figures to remember. Well don't panic, as organisation arises
from the chaos - information that you always wanted to know and sometimes
wouldn't dare to consider - the FAQs are here!

1.1 What is a FAQ?

Quite simply, FAQ stands for "Frequently Asked Questions". These are
generally the most common questions that get asked on the newsgroup,
and answers (or at least attempts to!) these so that they need not be
asked again.

Quite often though, a FAQ generates more discussion than before!
But then, Doctor Who topics have often been contentious :-)

Actually, this guide contains more than just FAQs, but also covers
other regularly posted Doctor Who-related information.

1.2 Where can I find these FAQs?

The FAQs are posted regularly to the rec.arts.drwho, rec.arts.drwho.info
and uk.media.tv.sf.drwho newsgroups. There are also web sites
that maintain the FAQs, and these are listed with each entry.

A copy of the FAQ is archived at the FAQ Guide site for reference
(and backup!), unless the author requests otherwise; these copies may be
updated by the author at any time.
