if there is a major update.
rec.arts.drwho.info on the second Friday of every month.
rec.arts.drwho if specifically requested or there are major updates.

The uk.media.tv.sf.drwho Homepage at:

http://www.zenn.demon.co.uk/drwho/drwho.htm

contains a copy of the FAQ and all the latest Who news and reviews.

Approved Web Sites:

Chuck provides us with this URL. It contains this file and I update it
myself when needed so its always up to date.

 http://serendipity.drwho.org/dw/in/faq/uk-addr.txt

You can also visit the excellent Nitro 9 web site, which is the hub of
the Doctor Who web community. This FAQ is also obtainable at the URL
shown below and is updated periodically.

http://nitro9.earth.uni.edu/doctor/uk_faq.html

and of course remember the official uk.media.tv.sf.drwho homepage at:

http://www.zenn.demon.co.uk/drwho/drwho.htm

Looking for an address of something Doctor Who related in the UK? Well
this FAQ may be able to help you. It lists fan clubs, fanzines and other
Who related stuff. I also include comments where information is
available about that club/group. A * denotes a comment. It's pretty
basic at the moment but that's where you lot come in. If you know of an
address of something Who related in the UK then email me at
Marcus@zenn.demon.co.uk and give me the address and your comments about
the group/people involved. All information provided will be fully
credited.

Naturally I cannot vouch for all of the organisations contained within,
so don't send them large amounts of money unless you trust them. I
cannot be held responsible for any losses on your part. And if you do
write to any of these people, please include a stamped self-addressed
envelope as it's only polite to do so. Many of these organisations are
run be people who lead a very busy life and therefore may not always be
able to provide an immediate response. Please be patient with them.

If you want to carry this FAQ on your web page fine. But may I ask you
not to alter it and to please try and always use an up-to-date version.
If in doubt email me and I will email you the latest version. Commercial
companies are not permitted to make use of this FAQ.

* Keith Topping provides more information: " Sorry to get all mercenary
like this, but my mate Paul Brown is starting up a new fanzine with the
title 'From Shoreditch to 'Sisco' (it grows on
you - trust me on this one). The aim of the 'zine is (quote) "to
recapturethe spirit of 'Queen Bat' and 'Purple Haze' - as a lively
debating format for all sorts of Dr Who related things". Paul is keen to
get articles, fiction, views, artwork, and - especially - letters on
The New Adventures, the Missing Adventures, the TV movie, the future of
the programmes, the recent press coverage of the movie, and, generally
what
Dr Who means to *you*. The idea is that much of the 'zine will be taken
up with a
letters section in a similar format to 'Queen Bat'. Hopefully, with
your help, issue one should hit the streets some time in
the next few months. "
