WORKING TITLE: Sunburst
NOTES: This story was scheduled to conclude season seventeen, but a BBC strike
meant that it was not completed and never transmitted. The completed footage,
which includes all the location work and some studio blocks, was preserved.
Because no end titles were produced for the story it is impossible to say
which cast members would have been uncredited.
Two scenes from the story were used in The Five Doctors in 1983.
In 1992 a BBC video of the story was released, produced by John Nathan-Turner.
This featured added video effects, sound effects (by Dick Mills), incidental
music (by Keff McCulloch) and the missing material narrated by Tom Baker.
Episode credits as used above are for the story had it been finished and not
this video version.

This was a series of six short documentaries overseen by the team responsible
for 30 Years in the TARDIS (see separate entry below). They were shown at
7.30pm on Fridays prior to each episode of the 1993 repeat of Planet of the
Daleks under the title "Doctor Who and the Daleks".

WORKING TITLE: The Dimensions of Time
NOTES: This was a 30th anniversary special initially commisioned as part of
the BBC's annual "Children in Need" telethon, later expanded to include a
second episode during the popular light entertainment show "Noel's House
Part" the following day. The two episodes, of 7mins40 and 5mins30 duration,
were made in a revolutionary 3D format and featured a large number of Doctor
Who stars joing with some of the cast of the BBC soap opera "EastEnders". Also
appearing were a number of Doctor Who fans wearing various monster costumes.
At the end of the first episode, viewers were asked to phone in to decide
which of the two "EastEnders" characters, Mandy or Big Ron, would save the
Doctor at the start of the next episode. This was accomplished just by a brief
shot of the winning character. The version shown was the Mandy one, with
56% of the vote.
